100 Motorcycles Across India

Sonia Jain has registered her name in the Limca Book of Records along with India Book of Records (IBR) for the year 2017 for riding 100 different models of motorcycles, the highest number by a woman in the country, as of August 16, 2016. She rode each bike for a minimum of 5 km to 500 km. The motorbikes varied from 60 cc, 63 kg Sunny to 1811 cc,
360 kg Indian Roadmaster. Other notable machines ridden by her include the 1811 cc Indian Roadmaster, HD Roadking, Ducati Monster, Hayabusa and Yamaha MT01 to name a few. Among Vintage motorcycles, Sonia has ridden Ariel, BMW R69, Rajdoot GTS 175/ Bobby and Triumph 1942 3HW.

MTV Chase The Monsoon

In August 2016, Jain participated in the reality television show on MTV, Chase The Monsoon Season 4. As part of the team #ChaseHorror she rode for 21 days covering 3000 km from Shimla, Himachal Pradesh to Ooty in Tamil Nadu.
She motorcycled through haunted places and spent nights there to complete the tasks through Shimla, Delhi, Bhangarh Fort, Jaipur, Bhilwara, Palanpur, Mehsana, Ahmedabad, Mumbai, Goa, Mangalore and Ooty.

Riding Instructor with Yamaha

Sonia Jain is an Indian female licensed instructor felicitated by Yamaha Riding Academy (YRA). During her term with Yamaha (2012-14) she has trained female riders with basic riding skills, riding rules and safety techniques as part of the ‘Yamaha Female Riding
Training Program’ (YFRT). The program trains young girls to ride bikes and scooters and trains 80 girls per day and 10 training sessions in a month. She has travelled across the country conducting these programs.

Long Distance Runner

Jain has successfully completed 21 km Airtel Delhi Half Marathon (2015,2016),21 km IDBI New Delhi Half Marathon (2017), 18km GSR Tuffman Endurance run in Mashobra, Shimla (2016) and other organized running events like 10km Pinkathon (2015)
in Delhi, 14 km Manger trail run in Gurgaon (2015). Jain has been an athlete since her early school days, she has represented Delhi at 48th National Schools Basket Ball Championship (2002-2003) in Karnataka.

Pan India Bike Rallies

Jain won her first motorcycle which was Yamaha FZ at 'The India Bike Rally' organized by Yamaha and BIGADDA (2009). The rally covered 4,500 km across 40 cities in 7 states in India in 21 days, which was her first ride just after learning how to ride a motorcycle. Next to that she participated and was rewarded by another motorcycle Yamaha SZ
in the 'Yamaha SZ Tour' (2010) which is again a 33 day PAN India rally where covering 8,000 kms. She motorcycled her way through Delhi, Uttar Pradesh, Rajasthan, Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, Goa, Orissa, Chattisgarh, West Bengal, Jharkhand, Tamil Nadu, Karnataka and Andhra Pradesh.

Rajasthan on a Triumph Tiger

In November 2016, Jain rides across Rajasthan on a Triumph Tiger 800 cc motorcycle covering 1900 km over 6 days. The ride aims to showcase the State of Rajasthan through the eyes female motorcycle traveler capturing the culture,
traditions, food, people, historical places and landscapes over social media. Some of the notable places Jain has ridden include Pushkar, Jodhpur, Jaisalmer, Longewala , Bikaner and Jaipur.

Ride to IBW on The Indian Chief Vintage

Jain rode the India Chief vintage motorcycle on a 1,883 km long journey from Delhi for the India Bike Week festival (2016).
